Full Narrative Of Our Film Idea

The main protagonist is: Max Azier; a street magician that not very good at his job and therefore is down on his luck.

The antagonists of the film are: the book that gives him powers and the demons he releases inside of himself by using supernatural powers.

Genre: Psychological Thriller

Whole Plot in Todorov's Theory:
Equilibrium: Protagonist is performing on the streets, not doing too well for himself as he is a washed up magician with old tricks that don't always go his way.

Disruption: Finds a book that is meant to teach him tricks but instead gives him supernatural powers which he then uses to rise to fame performing in a big show. As he becomes more successful, he gets rid of the book, thinking that he has gained all he can from it. However, after some time he realise that his tricks are causing bad things to happen to his audience.

Realisation: Azier realises what he's done and after trying to run away, he realises he is the only one with the ability to stop it - he has a moment of clarity and returns back to "save the day".

Attempt of repair: Azier confronts the demon within himself and uses his new found powers to defeat the demon by channelling his powers into a book which he must then launch through time and space.

Equilibrium: Azier loses his powers and cancels his show, returning to the streets to perform his basic tricks once more.
